"Dolores Claiborne"

Eric Bogosian plays the part of Peter, the editor of "Esquire Magazine," the man for whom Selena has been driving herself since forging her niche as an investigative journalist. It is Peter who shames her into returning to Little Tall Island to be with her mother by enticing her with the assignment she covets so desperately.
Best known in New York circles for his Obie Award-wining solo shows "Drinking in America" and "Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll," Bogosian starred in and co-wrote the film version of his provocative play "Talk Radio," which was directed by Oliver Stone and earned a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. His "Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll" was filmed by John McNaughton and released to critical acclaim.
He has appeared on television in Robert Altman's "The Caine Mutiny" and Paul Schrader's "Witch Hunt."
By sheer coincidence, Eric Bogosian has occasionally been a guest contributor to "Esquire."
