Jayce Bartok - "Pony"

An actor since the age of thirteen, Jayce Bartok studied for five years at the famed Herbert Berghof Studio, landing his first major role with New York's Circle Repertory Theatre at the age of sixteen. His feature film credits include The Fisher King, School Ties, Passed Away, Swing Kids and Andersonville.



Amie Carey - "Sooze"

Discovered by director Richard Linklater and playwright Eric Bogosian while performing in the University of Southern California School of Theatre's stage production of "subUrbia," Amie Carey reprises the role of Sooze for her feature film debut.




Nicky Katt - "Tim"

Nicky Katt began his career originating the role of "Albie" in John Cassavetes' stage production of "Love Streams" at the Center Theatre of Los Angeles. Having excelled in his role as a hot-tempered greaser in Dazed & Confused, he has also appeared in A Time To Kill, Strange Days, The Cure, American Yakuza, The Babysitter, Johns, The Doom Generation and Nowhere.

Ajay Naidu - "Nazeer"

A graduate and veteran performer of the American Repertory Theatres' Institute for Advanced Theatre Training, Ajay Naidu's credits include featured roles in Vice Versa and Where the River Runs Black, and the title role of the play "Everyman" at The Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. He can next be seen in the upcoming films Subway Stories, Scotch and Mick and Once We Were Strangers.

Parker Posey - "Erica"

Parker Posey made her film debut in Dazed & Confused before landing her critically acclaimed starring role in Party Girl. She has since appeared in Amateur and Flirt, The Daytrippers, Sleep With Me, The Doom Generation and Basquiat, among others. She can next be seen in the upcoming features Waiting for Guffman, Clockwatchers, and Daughters And Lovers.

Giovanni Ribisi - "Jeff"

An actor since the age of nine, Giovanni Ribisi appeared on a variety of television shows (including The Tracy Ullman Show, The X Files and Friends) and a number of feature films - Mother's Day, Outpost, A Brother's Kiss, The Grave and That Thing You Do - before being cast in subUrbia's de facto leading role. He recently completed work on the new David Lynch film, Lost Highway.

Samia Shoaib - "Pakeesa"

A writer, filmmaker and actress with a Master's Degree in Film from Columbia University, Samia Shoaib began studying her craft by performing Shakespeare while growing up in London. She has performed in the feature films Girl 6 and Love, Lust and Marriage, theatrical productions of "The Tempest", "As You Like It", "No Exit", and "The Women", and in the original Lincoln Center production of "subUrbia".

Dina Spybey - "Bee-Bee"

Dina Spybey earned an Emmy Award in 1993 for her performance as the lead in the HBO film The Becky Bell Story, and also received a Theatre World Award for her role in "Five Women Wearing The Same Dress". She has worked extensively in both theatre and television, and last year made her feature film debut in Big Night. Most recently she has appeared in The First Wives Club and Striptease.

Steve Zahn - "Buff"

A graduate of the A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University, Steve Zahn won critical acclaim for his performance as "Buff" in the original cast of "subUrbia" at Lincoln Center. He recently starred in That Thing You Do!, and has appeared in Race The Sun, Crimson Tide, Reality Bites and Rain Without Thunder.
